Blank media is given for the term Blank Blank DVD discs or CD discs.
Why are some blank media disc different from others?
CDR disc
A CDR disc is the term given for a compact disc which you can record on. These are only disc write once, and normally hold around 700MB of data with a recording time of around 80 minutes. These can come in and not printable printable versions with small to large pack sizes.
DVDR disc
DVDR the disc comes in two formats, DVD-R and DVD-R DVDR The term is short for Digital Versatile Disc video and will normally hold around 4.7GB of data with a recording time of upto 2 hours. DVDR discs come in a variety of pack sizes with different sides to the disc, including printable, non-printable, full stroke compared printable and printable.
Dual-layer disc
The dual-layer DVD disc, known as a DVD9 offer upto 8.5GB of data storage with around a 4 hour recording time. The dual-layer discs, tends to come in smaller sizes pack goal in a number of different brands.
Lightscribe DVD discs
The Lightscribe disc will work the same as the above blank media, but instead they have been created with a face that you can burn in images. This means rather than printing a picture to a disc using a standard printer you are able to burn the image into the face of the disc using a lightscribe automated.
This means that all the pictures in a dark lightscribe disc are totally water resistant and will be working.
